This website started as an idea for a book about management and leadership. We eventually realized that it might be easier to begin writing on a website, engaging in a dialog with our readers, and maybe from there a book would form.

This first virtual book is titled “On Leadership”. It is about becoming an effective leader. It is aimed at the next generation leaders in Asia: twenty- and early thirty-somethings who are first-time managers. While not confined to multinational companies, the intent is to represent a more international, global approach to leadership.

The intention is that each chapter will have:

• Clear explanations of key ideas, presented with relatable examples
• A compelling reason to try the ideas being explained
• Specific actions that can easily and immediately be applied on the job
• Graphics, illustrations, and other ways of easily absorbing the content
